Dr. Williams comments on another reality: that the rate of black homicide and armed robbery as well as other violent crimes are as is as much as 15–30 times more than whites
So, we have local black gang associates posting terror threats on social media -- threats of murder, by burning, directed at the women and children family members of white police employees -- immediately before the murder, by burning, of the white teenage daughter of a local police department employee. Plus, the killing took place only minutes after the victim was seen on video at the same location as the husband or boyfriend of the person who posted the threats, as he was filling a handheld can with gasoline.
Making a silk purse from the crime-ridden rubble of 'anti-racism'
Much has been said by many trying to excuse bad behavior. Inner cities have crime because… racism. Blue cities are dirty and noisy because… racism. White flight happens because… racism. Black unwed motherhood is on the rise and has become epidemic because… racism. No other reasons are given by black leadership for the failures of blacks to thrive except for… racism.
But racism does not account for these failures. Failure accounts for these failures: Failure to educate. Failure to instill a work ethic. Failure to be good and to do good. Failure to teach respect and good manners to young children. Failure to revere and promote healthy two-parent families. Failure to discourage sexual profligacy. Failure to demand excellence. Failure to reject profanity and embrace decency and honor. Instead, too many in the Black community have embraced the dysfunction within the Black culture with pride, claiming a unique historical experience that they say no one understands but other Black people.
It has been long enough making excuses for Black failures and it is past time for the respectable Black people of America to rise up against the jealous race-baiters and say “No more.” There is nothing preventing Black success that a Judeo-Christian perspective cannot address successfully. Love your neighbor means don’t steal, don’t do the crime. Be nice to each other. Respect the property and lives of others. Be on time (terribly unfashionable among “anti-racists”), work hard (ditto), have a plan to succeed, and above all get educated at a school that does not indoctrinate but educates, which excludes most urban government schools. Unasked-for advice: Do not respect, honor, or adopt the malignant principles of those who teach anti-white racism in the guise of Critical Race Theory, Diversity-Equity-Inclusion, or “Anti-Racism” (anti-white racism with an oxymoronic name.)
When a group blames others, they will not succeed because they are always relying on those others to change. When the blamed ones don’t change, the professional victims believe that it’s perfectly okay to steal, cheat, lie, and break other people’s stuff in the name of reparations. That is not the path to success or to a better place in life, although it is a temporary frisson of schadenfreude.
Crime in Blue cities is off the charts because Soros-appointed district attorneys have banded together to excuse crime committed by Black perpetrators. This harms Black people first, then Black neighborhoods, Black aspirations and in itself is criminal. When you teach theft, you get theft. When you get theft, good businesses leave your neighborhood. When they do leave, they take the economic base with them, and who gets hurt? Innocent, freedom-loving, decent people get hurt because they’re often stuck there with the crime they tolerated. The raped businesses will leave and set up shop where they are welcomed.
No one is helped by trying to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear: The sow’s ear cannot up and leave the sow. And silk is never made from putrefying pig flesh.
The time is now for decent Black people everywhere to confront those among them who are committing the crimes. Refund the police. Create deterrence to crime by actually prosecuting it, from Broken Windows to retail theft, to murder. Don’t be Chicago, LA, or NYC.
And for God’s sake, stop blaming others for the failures of your own house. Blame is not a strategy that keeps very long without starting to rot.

The Social Order
As for interracial violence generally, blacks disproportionately commit it. Between 2012 and 2015, there were 631,830 violent interracial victimizations, excluding homicide, between blacks
and whites, according to the Bureau of Justice Statistics. Blacks, who make up 13 percent of the U.S. population, committed 85.5 percent of those victimizations, or 540,360 felonious assaults on
whites, while whites, 61 percent of the population, committed 14.4 percent, or 91,470 felonious assaults on blacks. Regarding threats to blacks from the police, a police officer is 18.5 times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer.
Anti-cop activist Shaun King says that his involvement in the campaign around the Jazmine Barnes murder was not driven by reports that a white man had killed the seven-year-old girl, who was gunned down in Houston on December 30. According to Barnes’s mother and 15-year-old sister, the white driver of a pickup truck had pulled up next to the family’s car before opening fire. The accusation set off a frenzy of hate-crime allegations and blanket coverage by the New York Times. King offered a $100,000 reward to anyone who located the suspect.
As it turned out, Jazmine Barnes was killed by two black men, who opened fire on her mother’s car because they thought that they were targeting enemies of their gang. King passed along a tip about the real killers to the Houston police, and now says that he merely “internalized the pain of the family and tried to search as if it were my own child who was killed.” Race, in other words, had nothing to do with his activism.
It’s worth remembering, though, the many other black children who have been victims of drive-by shootings without leading King to launch a national crusade.
A sampling: in March 2015, a six-year-old boy was killed in a drive-by shooting on West Florissant Avenue in St. Louis, as Black Lives Matter protesters were converging on the Ferguson, Missouri, Police Department to demand the resignation of the entire department. In August 2015, a nine-year-old girl was killed by a bullet from a drive-by shooting in Ferguson while doing her homework in her bedroom, blocks from the Black Lives Matter rioting thoroughfare. Five children were shot in Cleveland over the 2015 Fourth of July weekend. A seven-year-old boy was killed in Chicago that same weekend by a bullet intended for his father. In Cincinnati, in July 2015, a four-year-old girl was shot in the head and a six-year-old girl was left paralyzed and partially blind from two separate drive-by shootings. In Cleveland, three children five and younger were killed in September 2015, leading the black police chief to break down in tears and ask why the community only protests shootings of blacks when the perpetrator is a cop. In November 2015, a nine-year-old in Chicago was lured into an alley and killed by his father’s gang enemies; the father refused to cooperate with the police. All told, ten children under the age of ten were killed in Baltimore in 2015; twelve victims were between the age of ten and seventeen.
In 2016, a three-year-old girl in Baltimore was partially paralyzed by a drive-by shooting. In Chicago in 2016, two dozen children under the age of 12 were shot in drive-bys, including a three-year-old boy mowed down on Father’s Day 2016 who is now paralyzed for life and a ten-year-old boy shot in August; his pancreas, intestines, kidney, and spleen were torn apart. A Jacksonville 22-month-old was shot to death by a passing car last June. In September, three men killed three-year-old Azalya Anderson in a drive-by in Sacramento, and a week before Christmas in Bridgeport, a 12-year-old boy was shot and killed on his way home from the candy store in a drive-by shooting.
Why did King let these shootings of black children go by without responding as he did to Jazmine Barnes’s murder? Could it be because the perpetrators were black? You could end all white shootings of black children tomorrow and it would have zero effect on the death rate of black children by homicide, because such white-on-black shootings are extremely rare. Moral abominations, like the 2015 Charleston church massacre by white supremacist Dylann Roof, are aberrations that belong to the outermost lunatic fringe of American society. The country’s revulsion at the Charleston carnage was immediate and universal, resulting in a movement to banish the Confederate flag, embraced by Roof as a white supremacist symbol, from official sites.
If Shaun King and other Black Lives Matter activists really want to save black children from the trauma of urban violence, they should put their efforts into rebuilding inner-city culture—above all, by revalorizing a married father as the best gift a mother can give her child. Fantasies about white violence against “black bodies” are a distraction from what is actually happening on American streets.

Walter Williams tackles the elephant in the room on crime
Dr. Williams is a well known conservative economist and longtime John Olin Chair faculty at George Mason University in eastern Virginia, author of 12 books and syndicated columnist. In the past, he has been substitute host on the Rush Limbaugh radio program. He is almost like family to me, and I have benefited from his essays and books over the years. This past week, I saw and read his essay on disparities in crime rates among races that was picked up by Military in its October 2019 issue. What got Dr. Williams going was the article by Matthew DeLisi of Iowa State U and John Paul Wright of the U of Cincinnati titled "What Criminologists Don't Say and Why."
Dr. Williams confirms that the writers are right about the liberal tilt of criminologists — "If criminologists have the guts to even talk about a race-crime connection, it's behind closed doors and in guarded language. Any discussion about race and crime ... can mean the end of one's professional career."
Dr. Williams points out teen black-on-white predatory behavior — chronicled in detail by many, particularly Colin Flaherty, whose investigative reports appear frequently (more than 100) at American Thinker — cannot be reported, mentioned, or considered by the media, politicians, criminologists, commentators, politicians, even law enforcement people without risking being called racist, the easy epithet used to enforce a ban on talking about the realities of racial disparities in crime and the increasingly violent nature of black violence against whites — the knockout game, polar bear hunting, flash mob violence against people and property.
Referencing the Wright and DeLisi report, Dr. Williams comments on another reality: that the rate of black homicide and armed robbery as well as other violent crimes are as is as much as 15–30 times more than whites, for example, and he points out the silliness of criminologists' claims that mass incarceration rather than criminality has decimated the black community. He favorably quotes Wright and DeLisi when they say, "What they [criminals] did, in reality was to prey on their neighbors."
Dr. Williams returns to a theme he has explored many times before in this essay and commentary when he points out that the black family of the past was two parents and stable, even back to days of slavery, and that the black community was moral and law-abiding. "The strong character of black people is responsible for the great progress made from emancipation to today. ... [T]oday's conduct among black youth wouldn't have been tolerated yesteryear."
My regret is there aren't enough Walter Williams and Thomas Sowell types to engage the nutty attitudes of liberal chatterbox experts.

CITY JOURNAL
BLACK ON BLACK VIOLENCE Data,
https://www.city-journal.org/html/hard-data-hollow-protests-15458.html
of crime and policing than this weekend’s demonstrations suggest.
The FBI released its official crime tally for 2016 today, and the data flies in the face of the rhetoric that professional athletes rehearsed in revived Black Lives Matter protests over the weekend. Nearly 900 additional blacks were killed in 2016 compared with 2015, bringing the black homicide-victim total to 7,881. Those 7,881 “black bodies,” in the parlance of Ta-Nehisi Coates, are 1,305 more than the number of white victims (which in this case includes most Hispanics) for the same period, though blacks are only 13 percent of the nation’s population. The increase in black homicide deaths last year comes on top of a previous 900-victim increase between 2014 and 2015.
Who is killing these black victims? Not whites, and not the police, but other blacks. In 2016, the police fatally shot 233 blacks, the vast majority armed and dangerous, according to the Washington Post. The Post categorized only 16 black male victims of police shootings as “unarmed.” That classification masks assaults against officers and violent resistance to arrest. Contrary to the Black Lives Matter narrative, the police have much more to fear from black males than black males have to fear from the police. In 2015, a police officer was 18.5 times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male was to be killed by a police officer. Black males have made up 42 percent of all cop-killers over the last decade, though they are only 6 percent of the population. That 18.5 ratio undoubtedly worsened in 2016, in light of the 53 percent increase in gun murders of officers—committed vastly and disproportionately by black males. Among all homicide suspects whose race was known, white killers of blacks numbered only 243.
Violent crime has now risen by a significant amount for two consecutive years. The total number of violent crimes rose 4.1 percent in 2016, and estimated homicides rose 8.6 percent. In 2015, violent crime rose by nearly 4 percent and estimated homicides by nearly 11 percent. The last time violence rose two years in a row was 2005–06. The reason for the current increase is what I have called the Ferguson Effect. Cops are backing off of proactive policing in high-crime minority neighborhoods, and criminals are becoming emboldened. Having been told incessantly by politicians, the media, and Black Lives Matter activists that they are bigoted for getting out of their cars and questioning someone loitering on a known drug corner at 2 AM, many officers are instead just driving by. Such stops are discretionary; cops don’t have to make them. And when political elites demonize the police for just such proactive policing, we shouldn’t be surprised when cops get the message and do less of it. Seventy-two percent of the nation’s officers say that they and their colleagues are now less willing to stop and question suspicious persons, according to a Pew Research poll released in January 2016. The reason is the persistent anti-cop climate.
Four studies came out in 2016 alone rebutting the charge that police shootings are racially biased. If there is a bias in police shootings, it works in favor of blacks and against whites. That truth has not stopped the ongoing demonization of the police—including, now, by many of the country’s ignorant professional athletes. The toll will be felt, as always, in the inner city, by the thousands of law-abiding people there who desperately want more police protection.

Study: ‘Family Structure’ a Major Factor in Racial Disparities in School Conduct and Suspensions

A new study affirms what many public policy analysts say is intuitive — that unstable family structure, including chaotic households and single-parent homes, is a primary factor in racial disparities in school behavior and suspensions.
The study, conducted by senior fellows Nicholas Zill and W. Bradford Wilcox at the Institute for Family Studies, asserts education policymakers “must recognize that social and psychological problems in youth may manifest themselves at school but have their origins in family situations over which the school has little or no control.”

NEW: On Black-White divide in school suspensions
-More than 50% of gap explained by Family Structure
-White children in non-intact families *more likely to be suspended* than black children in intact families

131 people are talking about this
The authors find in their new analysis of the National Household Education Survey (NHES) that, in 2016, about 24 percent of black elementary and high school students had been suspended at least once, while eight percent of white students and only four percent of Asian students had the same experience.
The researchers note the NHES shows “black students are far more likely to be living apart from their married birth parents in the home (72%) compared to white students (37%) or Asian students (26%).”
“These family structure differences, then, are likely to play a role in inter- and intra-racial disparities in student conduct and discipline,” the authors state, and add:
Indeed, among black students who do live with both married birth parents, suspension rates are less than half as large as those for black students living in other family types: 12% versus 28%. The suspension rate for black students living in intact families, 12%, is also less than the suspension rate for white students from non-intact families, 13%.
The study also found that family structure even accounts for more of the racial disparities in school suspensions than socioeconomic factors.
When the researchers controlled for family structure, they discovered the racial disparities in school suspensions reduced by 55 percent. Controlling for socioeconomic status reduced the racial differences by only 38 percent.
“These results, then, suggest that family structure is a signal factor in accounting for real differences in school conduct and school suspensions,” the authors state. “This is especially noteworthy because discussions related to racial disparities in school discipline often overlook the role of family structure and highlight socioeconomic explanations.”
Zill and Wilcox assert that, while examples of racism exist, “there are legitimate reasons for believing that some of the racial differences in school suspensions and discipline are based upon real, not just perceived, differences in students’ behavior”:
We focus here on the possibility that some of these differences are related to family factors, including notable differences in family structure by race. Students who come from chaotic homes, single-parent families, or non-intact families are less likely to get the consistent attention, affection, and discipline they need to flourish and develop self-control. Their families typically have less money, which affects the quality of their neighborhoods and their neighborhood peers, which is also an important influence on school conduct. And they are also more likely to be exposed to conflict, stress, frequent moves, and neglect—all risk factors for delinquent and disruptive behavior. Indeed, our data indicate that rates of school contact for student misbehavior are nearly twice as high among students living with separated or divorced parents as among those living with stably married parents. And they are higher still among students who live apart from both biological parents, being cared for instead by grandparents or foster parents.
The researchers say that, in order to see a drop in school suspensions among black children and adolescents, black family life must be stabilized and reinforced:
Such efforts should include criminal justice reform, ending marriage penalties in means-tested policies, subsidizing the wages of low-income workers, and launching local and national campaigns directed by black religious, civic, and cultural leaders to strengthen marriage in the black community. Efforts like these are needed because, our research suggests, increasing the number of African American children who are raised by stably married parents would dramatically increase the odds that black girls and boys steer clear of the principal’s office—and increase the odds they flourish in school, avoid contact with the criminal justice system, and, later in life, excel in the labor force further down the road.
“[S]tronger black families would go a long way towards reducing racial disparities in school discipline,” Zill and Wilcox assert.
The study comes as Obama-era holdovers and other progressives continue the narrative that racial disparities in school suspensions and discipline are due to systemic factors such as institutional racism.
The Obama Departments of Education and Justice, under Education Secretary Arne Duncan and Attorney General Eric Holder, issued public school guidelines that claimed students of color are “disproportionately impacted” by suspensions and expulsions, a situation they said led to a “school-to-prison pipeline” that discriminates against minority and low-income students.
The policy, however, essentially blamed systemic racism for the fact that black and other minority students have been punished and suspended more than white and Asian students. Recommended remedies for the problem included eliminating suspensions for unacceptable behavior by minority students and urging, instead, their participation in “restorative talking circles” and “positive behavior interventions.”
In December 2018, the Trump administration revoked the Obama-era policy that urged public schools to employ these more lenient forms of discipline for students of color and of other minority groups.
The U.S. Departments of Education and Justice rescinded the Obama administration’s 2014 “Dear Colleague Letter” that a federal school safety commission said “may have paradoxically contributed to making schools less safe.”
The outcry from parents, teachers, some media outlets, and many education analysts and stakeholders has been piercing, with most pointing to the rise in “dangerousness” in public schools.
Nevertheless, in July, Democrat members of the U.S. Civil Rights Commission urged the White House and Congress to continue the Obama-era race-based discipline policy.
The commission’s report, titled “Beyond Suspensions: Examining School Discipline Policies and Connections to the School-to-Prison Pipeline for Students of Color with Disabilities,” stated, “[D]ata have consistently shown that the overrepresentation of students of color in school discipline rates is not due to higher rates of misbehavior by these students, but instead is driven by structural and systemic factors.”
The commission’s report was released as the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) issued its analysis indicating a rise in serious incidents of violence in the nation’s public schools:

Even a Democrat state lawmaker — New York State Sen. Leroy Comrie — and Teamsters President Gregory Floyd, who represents school safety officers — referred to the Obama-era policy as one that has led to “chaos” and a lack of “accountability” for dangerous behavior.
Two members of the U.S. Civil Rights Commission — Peter Kirsanow and Gail Heriot — dissented from the commission’s majority report.
Kirsanow wrote at National Review the report is “essentially a defense of the Obama Department of Education’s 2014 ‘Dear Colleague’ letter that used disparate-impact theory to interpret racial disparities in school discipline as evidence of racial discrimination.”
To progressives, “any racial disparity necessarily means invidious racial discrimination,” Kirsanow asserted, adding:
It’s undisputed that black students, as a group, are disciplined more than white students. For the commission majority, this is evidence of racially disparate treatment, as it’s an article of faith that discipline disparities aren’t due to disparities in behavior.
Kirsanow observed the commission’s report ignored key statistics in order to craft its narrative of racial discrimination against students of color.
He pointed to his colleague Heriot’s statement in which she said, “In the report, the Commission finds ‘Students of color as a whole, as well as by individual racial group, do not commit more disciplinable offenses than their white peers.’”
“That would be a good thing if it were true, but there is no evidence to support it and abundant evidence to the contrary,” she asserted, adding that what accounts for differing rates of misbehavior among students of color “likely” includes “differing rates of poverty, differing rates of fatherless households, differing parental education, differing achievement in school, and histories of policy failures and injustices.”
Kirsanow called for those truly concerned about improving education in the United States to “disregard” the report released by the majority of the U.S. Civil Rights Commission.
“Claiming that racism or dislike of children with disabilities accounts for disparate rates of discipline only stokes resentment and erodes personal responsibility,” he asserted. “The supposed cures of ‘restorative practices’ and ‘positive behavioral interventions and supports’ only make it more likely that children in minority neighborhoods who want to learn will be less able to do so, and that teachers and children will be at the mercy of school bullies.”

D.C. Crime Crisis Touches 5 High-Profile People in 2023
The soaring Washington, DC, crime ravaging local taxpayers also impacted five high-profile people in 2023.
District officials defunded the police in 2023 by 1.7 percent, while U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Matthew Graves, who is responsible for prosecuting those D.C. police arrest, decided not to prosecute 56 percent of those arrested in 2023.
As a result, criminals inflicted terrifying shocks on five federal officials, employees, and a Secret Service protectee:
1.) FBI agent’s vehicle carjacked
A thief carjacked an FBI agent’s vehicle at gunpoint in broad daylight in D.C.’s historic Capitol Hill neighborhood on November 29, according to the Bureau.
2.) Naomi Biden’s Secret Service vehicle attacked
In November, the Secret Service opened fire on three individuals trying to break into the SUV of President Joe Biden’s granddaughter, Naomi Biden, law enforcement said. It appears the attackers got away.
3.) Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) carjacked
In November, a thief carjacked Cuellar in the Navy Yard neighborhood, the congressman said: “They came out of nowhere and they pointed guns at me. I do have a black belt, but I recognize when you got three — three guns, yeah. I looked at one with a gun, another with a gun, a third one behind me,” Cuellar told reporters.
4.) Sen. Rand Paul’s (R-KY) staffer stabbed
In March, one of Sen. Rand Paul’s staffers was brutally stabbed at random on a Saturday around 5:15 PM on the 1300 block of H Street Northeast. The suspect, identified as 42-year-old district resident Glynn Neal, who had reportedly been released from prison the day before, told law enforcement he launched the attack because “voices” in his head told him to do it, according to NBC4 Washington.
5.) Rep. Angie Craig (D-MN) attacked
In February, an attacker assaulted Rep. Angie Craig (D-MN) inside her apartment building near the elevator during morning rush hour, the congresswoman’s office said. The attack left Craig bruised, according to her Chief of Staff Nick Coe.

Widower of Elderly New Orleans Woman Brutally Killed in Carjacking Sues Teens’ Parents
The widower of an elderly New Orleans woman who was tragically killed in a vicious carjacking in 2022 is now suing the parents of the teens who committed the crime.
Linda Frickey, 73, died in March 2022 after a group of four teenagers dragged her behind her own vehicle as they stole it, severing her arm.
An 18-year-old man was recently convicted of second-degree murder in connection with the incident, and three girls between the ages of 15 and 17 pleaded guilty to manslaughter. The girls each received a 20-year prison sentence, while the man is scheduled to be sentenced on January 12. His conviction could get him a life sentence.
Rick Frickey, Linda’s husband, is now seeking $50,000 in damages for his wife’s unthinkable death due to loss of income and emotional distress, NOLA.com reported.
The lawsuit was initially filed on March 21 in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court but was put on hold pending the conclusion of the criminal cases against the teens, attorney Donald Hodge Jr. said.
Rick Frickey’s sister, Kathy Richard, told the local outlet that her grieving brother is targeting the youths’ parents with the lawsuit to “bring awareness to the public that if your children commit crimes, you are liable.”
With the final convictions of John Honore, Briniyah Baker, Lenyra Theophile, and Mar’Qel Curtis finally being handed down, Frickey is ready to sue.
Linda Frickey’s death was agonizing, as she was dragged for more than 200 yards during the violent carjacking, with a witness testifying that the victim was “skinned alive” and “tortured,” according to Fox 8.
Prosecutors showed harrowing video evidence to the jury during Honore’s trial, which showed Frickey, tethered by a seatbelt, pleading for her life to no avail.
“The defendant, after pepper spraying her, grabs her, pulls her out of her car, puts heel to her face, stomps her on the head, gets on top, punches her, gets into the driver seat and you will see decisions made that ended Frickey’s life,” prosecutors said during the trial. “She was screaming and pleading for him to stop. [The defendant] dragged her over 700 feet – or two football fields.”
According to Hodge, the lawsuit will be “just part of the closure process.”
“I truly believe [the conviction] Monday was needed and brought a sense of closure, much like I think the civil lawsuit is and will,” the attorney told NOLA.com.
CRIME IN AMERICA'S BIG CITIES IS BLACK!
NYC Bodega Owners Arm Themselves amid Surging Crime
Bodega owners in New York City are arming themselves for self-defense and store defense as crime continues to surge in the City.
The New York Post pointed to the National Supermarket Association, which indicated upwards of 25 percent of NYC bodega owners are armed as compared with roughly ten percent prior to coronavirus shutdowns.
Moreover, “the United Bodegas of America and the Bodega and Small Business Group said they’ve helped at least 230 store owners apply for their gun licenses, connecting them with concealed-carry classes required by the state to obtain a permit.”
On January 22, 2023, FOX 5 reported that bodega owners in the Bronx observed that crime was so bad they were “chaining up merchandise” to prevent it from being stolen.
The United Bodega Association’s Fernando Mateo explained that part of the problem is that criminals are confident they will not get punished.
He said, “NYPD is doing their job, they come when you call them and make arrests, but that person will usually get a desk appearance and nothing will happen because District Attorneys and judges are not willing to prosecute.”
In mid-2022 Mateo called on bodega owners to legally arm themselves.
FOX News quoted Mateo saying, “We want to make sure every bodega owner in New York City that is law-abiding, that feels the necessity to carry a licensed gun, to go and apply for it. Why? Because you need to be able to defend yourself.”
He noted that an armed bodega owner can protect himself in the moment prior to police reaching the scene: “When there’s a gun to your head, it’s very difficult to call 911 but if you survive that then call 911. If you are being assaulted or beaten up, there’s really no time to call 911, but after that happens, call 911.”

Add pee to the poop destroying American cities, with Baltimore as Exhibit A
One of the solid hits that Ron DeSantis landed on Gavin Newsom during their Thursday night debate was his waving a map graphically illustrating that San Francisco is covered with human fecal matter (aka poop), something that magically vanished only when a Chinese dictator came to town. San Francisco may be the worst city for human poop, but it’s not the only problem facing urban America. In Baltimore, the fact that the city has become a giant urinal is destroying the city’s historic buildings.
Until the modern era, cities were vast dung heaps, crawling with human and animal fecal matter. One of the hazards of narrow urban streets from the Roman era to the 19th century was that an upstairs window might open and, suddenly and without warning, someone would empty a chamber pot on your head as you walked by. Cesspits, where human waste was dumped, might not be cleaned for decades and, when they were, the stench was reputed to be so awful that the men tasked with the job sometimes died on the spot.
On busy streets, human fecal matter was outweighed by animal fecal matter from the horses, oxen, and other livestock that traveled through cities. In some areas, the effluvia could be ankle-deep. That’s why, when the car came along—the same vehicle we view as a pollutant—it was hailed as the answer to clean cities. For once, the roads were no longer an odorous slurry of animal urine and feces.
As you can imagine the fact that cities were giant, open sewers meant that the stench was unbearable. Indeed, in London, during the unusually hot summer of 1858, London experienced what became known as the “Great Stink.” Until then, the Thames was not only the main waterway but also the main sewage line. However, in 1858, human waste, combined with animal waste from the London butcheries, overwhelmed the Thames to such an extent that Parliament came to a standstill and finally passed legislation to build a modern sewage system.
However, thanks to Democrat policies in cities across America, we’re reverting to the pre-modern era. As noted, San Franciscans need poop maps to navigate their once-lovely city:
It’s not just San Francisco, though. In Baltimore, a Democrat hellhole with gorgeous 19th- and early 20th-century architecture, public urination is eating away at the buildings:
Many of downtown Baltimore’s buildings are slowly being washed away. The problem is less flooding and rain, more golden showers.
That’s right, pee is eroding thousands of historic buildings downtown, the exterior bases corroding with every spurt.
Like a yellow Sharpie, it’s highlighting long-standing tensions in Baltimore: the decline of a once bustling city center, dwindling public spaces and the enduring needs of the local homeless population.
As the article points out, the same problem is eating away at other of the world’s historic buildings:
The acidic liquid is also wreaking havoc on the world’s tallest church in Germany, the historic streets of Paris, and medieval inns in London, where cities have opted to install “urine deflectors” and “open sidewalk urinals” to redirect bold tinklers.
Baltimore is planning to install more public restrooms, but that’s not necessarily the cure it seems. As drug use and homelessness rise in cities, restrooms cease to be places in which people can go to relieve themselves. Instead, they become places for the homeless to camp out, prostitutes to ply their trade, and drug users to shoot up.
In addition, all the cities that have opened their doors to overwhelming influxes of third-world “refugees,” especially from the Middle East, are discovering that those people don’t even have a concept of toilets. In Germany, the Muslims really like to use swimming pools. In Italy, they use the public fountains as bidets.
While today’s pee story is about Baltimore, the fact is that we are rapidly “de-civilizing.” Thanks to the breakdown in Western norms, we are returning to a pre-modern world and, I can assure you, it will be smelly, inconvenient, and rife with deadly diseases we once believed were long gone from the West.

Police: FBI Agent Carjacked in Washington DC as Crime Plagues Capital
Police say an agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was carjacked by two armed suspects Wednesday afternoon in Washington, DC.
Approximately 30 minutes after the incident, the vehicle involved was located a mile away from the scene, the New York Post reported Thursday.
An image shows what appears to be officers at the scene:
“The FBI’s Washington field office and the Metropolitan Police Department’s carjacking task force are investigating, the FBI said in a statement,” the outlet said, noting, “Violent crime in Washington has also been on the rise this year, up more than 40% compared with last year.”
Fox 5 reported Wednesday there was not yet any information regarding arrests in the case:
Law enforcement officers apparently do not know why carjackings in D.C. surged 111 percent in the first ten months of 2023, Breitbart News reported October 7.
The article noted the jump in numbers is compared to the same period in 2022, adding officials refused to prosecute 67 percent of the arrestees in 2022.
The outlet said the people arrested in the carjacking cases are mostly under 18 years old.
The report continued:
U.S. Attorney for D.C. Matthew Graves suggested in August that his office would crack down on some crimes involving juveniles. His office does not generally prosecute them. According to 2022 District statistics, Graves refused to prosecute 67 percent of those arrested who could have stood trial in the D.C. Superior Court. Among juvenile crime, he refused to prosecute 26 percent, according to data obtained by the Washington Post.
President Joe Biden nominated Graves to his position in 2021, and the Senate confirmed him.
It is important to note that officials say a 13-year-old in D.C. who was fatally shot during an alleged attempted carjacking of a federal officer had nine previous carjacking and robbery charges over the period of five weeks, Breitbart News reported on November 4.
“The tragic incident is representative of the soaring crime and the District’s bewildered justice system,” the article said.

New York Retailers Blast Gov. Hochul After Losing $4.4 Billion to Theft Last Year
New York retailers are blasting Gov. Kathy Hochul after losing a whopping $4.4 billion last year to theft, as the Democrat governor vetoes measures to tackle the issue.
Hochul vetoed a proposal last week that would have created a 15-member task force of appointed experts to tackle organized retail crime, to the “chagrin” of store owners, the New York Post reported.
“Retailers throughout the state are extremely disappointed to learn that Governor Hochul vetoed a bipartisan bill that would have established the New York State Organized Retail Crime Task Force,” the Retail Council of New York State said in a statement on November 20.
“Stores that invest in New York communities lose $4.4 billion to retail theft, and this illegal activity certainly has community safety implications.”
Council president and CEO Melissa O’Connor said she spoke with Hochul “at length” to discuss the “need for immediate action and an effective, collaborative response to this problem,” but reported that her administration has disappointed store owners throughout the state with her inaction.
A spokesperson for Hochul excused the veto by saying that the task force would have cost the state $35 million that was not in the budget, the Post noted.
New York City has seen major increases in retail theft, with a 64 percent surge in reported incidents over the four-year period between mid-2019 and June of this year, according to a Council on Criminal Justice report.
While the Big Apple faces the brunt of crime, smaller cities throughout the state have also seen tremendous losses from organized retail theft, officials say.

NYPD Crime Stoppers via StoryfulSyracuse Police Chief Joe Cecile said last month that his town has seen a 55 percent spike in shoplifting since 2021, noting that the figure is a conservative estimate due to under-reporting.
“That number is likely higher because businesses often don’t report it—but they do continue to express concerns,” Cecile told CNY Central.
The chief warned that small businesses are “having trouble sustaining themselves” amid the crime surge.
One local pharmacy chain has been suffering losses of over a quarter million dollars per year alone, he told the outlet.
In the state capital, Albany, police have fielded 23 calls for larcenies at a single convenience store this year, up from 14 at this time in 2022.
Not surprisingly, the owner eventually had to shut down the location.
“Retail theft at convenience stores throughout the state is not as organized as at some other retailers but is as dangerous and impactful,” Kent Sopris, president of the New York Association of Convenience Stores, told the Post.
“My members have reported theft that leaves stores in shambles as criminals seek cigarettes, lottery tickets, and anything they can get their hands on.”

Police: Teen Murder Suspect Escapes Louisiana Jail for Second Time in Two Weeks
A teenage murder suspect who escaped from jail Saturday in Louisiana had apparently done the same thing two weeks prior.
Officials with the Baton Rouge Police Department were holding 17-year-old David Atkins on a first-degree murder charge, Fox News reported Monday.
However, Atkins broke out of jail Saturday alongside 17-year-old Willie Jackson, whom officials were holding on a murder charge through the sheriff’s department.
According to WAFB, Atkins had also escaped the East Baton Rouge Juvenile Detention Center the night of November 14 with another teenager identified as Jeremiah Green, 17.
At the time of Atkins’s first escape, the teens were wearing white shirts, orange sweat pants, and orange slippers, the outlet noted:
The Fox report said officers recaptured them just over 24 hours after the escape. However, Atkins is once again on the run, this time with Jackson.
In a social media post Monday, Capital Region Crime Stoppers shared images of the suspects:

The group is offering $2,000 per escapee for information leading to their capture.
The Capital Region Crime Stoppers post reads:
ATKINS is pictured below wearing the black hooded sweatshirt. JACKSON also shown wearing the gray t-shirt. ATKINS was being held on First Degree Murder charges through the Baton Rouge Police Department. JACKSON was being held on First Degree Murder charges through the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office.
Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of DAVID ATKINS or WILLIE JACKSON is urged to contact to contact Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP(7867), download the P3 Tips App, or visit crimestoppers225.com.
Law enforcement is still working to determine how the teens escaped, telling Fox the search is ongoing.
“Over the weekend, the Baton Rouge Police Department issued a press release saying the suspects may have changed their hairstyles and warned the public not to approach the suspects if they are spotted,” the article said, adding the facility has been criticized for multiple escapes and violence in past years.
It is interesting to note that in May, Louisiana State University reported that a survey found crime was the main concern for residents.
“This year, crime surged to the top of state residents’ concerns, named by about one-fifth of respondents (19%),” the post read.
"That phase of the takeover was started in 2008 by President Barack Obama. Throughout his eight years in office, Obama practiced divisiveness and hammered away at the Second Amendment while pouring gallons of fuel on the fire of the "Black Lives Matter" lie. Police: Indiana Man Had Pistol Hidden in Rectum During Traffic Stop
A man with a long criminal history was carrying a handgun in his rectum Monday during a traffic stop in Evansville, Indiana, police say.
Officers made the 2:00 a.m. traffic stop for an obstructed license plate on a vehicle in which 32-year-old Christopher Boyd was a passenger, The Smoking Gun reported.
The outlet noted the car’s driver and another passenger were later released after the Evansville officers searched them.
The outlet continued:
A pat down of Boyd, however, turned up “a small bag with multiple pills” in his right sock. Boyd reportedly said he got the narcotics from his “Aunt Trish” and believed the pills to be Percocet. He used the painkiller, Boyd said, “because he has a bullet lodged in his spine.”
Before being placed in a cruiser, Boyd (seen at right) was searched, though he claimed to be unable to spread his legs very far due to his spine injury. “While searching in Boyd’s groin area, Boyd tensed up,” a cop noted, adding that he asked the suspect if he had “anything stuffed in his groin or buttocks.”
In reply to the question, authorities said he told them he did not.
When they arrived at the jail, a body scanner highlighted an object in the suspect’s groin area while a strip search revealed small bags of marijuana concealed beside the man’s scrotum.
During the process, Boyd was clenching his buttocks and an officer realized he was holding a handgun inside his rectum. The gun was eventually removed from the suspect’s body.
The Smoking Gun said it was a Smith & Wesson Bodyguard, which is quite small and lightweight.
An image shows the suspect in the case:
Social media users were quick to offer their thoughts on the report, one person referring to it as “Concealed carry.”
“I hope it wasn’t loaded. That would be dangerous,” another user replied. The Smoking Gun article noted it was unclear if the firearm was loaded or not.
Boyd was reportedly previously convicted of attempted murder, burglary, and domestic battery, the outlet stated.
Now, “he is the subject of an active protective order and has been classified as a ‘Serious Violent Felon and Domestic Batterer,’ which bars him from possessing a handgun, cops reported,” the report said, adding he was charged with felony drug, gun, and trafficking charges in the recent case.
Officials are currently holding him without bond.
In 2022, a model skirted being criminally convicted for attempting to smuggle cocaine into an event in Sydney, Australia, where there were drug-sniffing canines, according to Breitbart News. The outlet said that during a strip search, law enforcement had found the cocaine in a condom tucked inside her vagina, the outlet said.
A similar instance happened in Waco, Texas, in 2015, when police found drugs in a car and a loaded pistol tucked inside a woman’s vagina during a traffic stop, per Breitbart News.

BLACKS ARE THE MOST VIOLENT SUBCULTURE IN THE WORLD!
On May 25, 2020, a Black man who’d ingested huge quantities of illegal drugs died while a White cop restrained him as an angry crowd threatened. Democrats seized this incident as an opportunity to reclaim the White House and dominate government by racially dividing the nation.
https://mexicanoccupation.blogspot.com/2022/06/mexifornia-reparations-for-blacks-when.html
Let me be blunt. Throwing more money at Blacks will make virtue-signaling White leftists feel a little more virtuous. It will not help those Blacks who are sinking into a morass of poverty, crime, abuse, and despair. The only thing that will change is when they stop looking for reparations (even arguably deserved ones) and start repairing their broken communities. ANDREA WIDBURG

Suspect Freed from Jail without Bail in Memphis After Allegedly Murdering 15-Year-Old Boy on Thanksgiving
A man charged with murdering a 15-year-old boy on Thanksgiving in Memphis, Tennessee, has since been freed from jail without having to pay bail.
Edio White, 18, and Conner Tucker,15, were arrested and charged with first-degree murder during a robbery, criminal attempted aggravated robbery, and illegal possession of a weapon after allegedly shooting to death 15-year-old Anthony Mason outside his home on Thanksgiving in the Binghampton neighborhood of Memphis.
According to police, security footage shows White driving a Hyundai Sonata to Mason’s residence in the middle of the night on Thanksgiving with Tucker in the passenger seat. Mason can be seen interacting with the pair outside the residence, police said.
At one point, while the three were passing firearms back and forth to each other, White allegedly grabbed a firearm from Mason which led to a struggle between the two before Tucker allegedly fired a gunshot to Mason’s head from inside the vehicle.
As Mason fell to the ground, dying instantly, the pair fled the scene in the vehicle. Police said Tucker admitted to shooting Mason in the head, while he said White was the getaway driver.
White likewise admitted he was the driver, police said, and that they were headed to Mason’s residence that night to rob him with a pistol.
Since their arrests on Black Friday, White has been released from jail on his own recognizance without having to pay bail. His release has sparked backlash, including from Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), who said “Criminals belong behind bars, not out on the streets,” in a statement posted to Twitter.
White’s release from jail despite a murder charge comes as Shelby County District Attorney Steven Mulroy (D) has overhauled the bail system in Memphis — now taking into account a suspect’s personal finances and whether they would be able to pay any bail at all.
While rolling out the new bail system in February, Mulroy said bail is “harder on the poor, it’s harder on minorities” and that his overhaul “is an attempt to fix that.”
Mulroy won the District Attorney’s race last year, ousting Republican Amy Weirich from the office. In the race, Mulroy was boosted by the likes of far-left jailbreak organizations like the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and Real Justice PAC.
