WHO WILL STEP UP TO DEFEND AMERICA AGAINST THE BIDEN - MAYORKAS - SCHUMER - NARCOMEX INVASION? - New job for the Border Patrol: Shooting bandits

New job for the Border Patrol: Shooting bandits

As if the Border Patrol doesn't already have enough to do changing diapers and 'processing' tens of thousands of illegal border crossers to their destinations of choice in the U.S., now somebody's got bandit duty.

According to Fox News:

Border patrol agents in California shot and killed a bandit who was robbing other migrants as they crossed into the U.S. from Mexico.

Multiple U.S. Customs and Border Protection sources confirmed that a criminal migrant who crossed the border in the San Diego sector was shot and killed by a member of the Border Patrol’s elite Border Patrol Tactical unit, or BORTAC, early Sunday morning.

The incident happened in a remote area where the bandits had been seen crossing into the U.S., robbing migrants and returning to Mexico.

Border Patrol agents responded to "bandit activity" on Sunday morning, when they came across a small group of bandits who were robbing migrants as they were walking to an area where migrants surrender to agents so they can be processed.

So, bandits are now becoming a problem at the border, a problem we didn't have much of until Joe Biden opened the border.

It's shocking stuff, pretty much like the Wild West now, except that banditry isn't the only illegal thing going on at the U.S. border -- the crossings themselves are illegal, but those doing it are viewed as now entitled to a safe illegal crossing, not an unsafe one, complete with security guards, still illegal as heck, though and more service with a smile.

Now, there wouldn't be any bandit activity if there weren't fat, juicy, easy targets for bandits to rob to begin with. Bandits could just as easily rob people in cities and plenty of them do. But they know that most designer-dud-clad illegal migrants, some with suitcases, carry a lot of money. And so long as those illegal crossings continue and migrants know that if they can get in, they can stay, the bandit harvestings will be ample.

So much for the myth perpetrated by the Biden administration and the NGOs that all migrants are utterly penniless, pitiful refugees, and therefore in need of full lifetime services, to be administered by them by the government. Actually, the illegals have got a lot of money and can pay for their own transport  food, and hotels, but why pay it when the U.S. is handing it out for free? Under Biden's catch-and-release, no I.D., no questions asked, they can always get it for free. Studies have shown that it's not the very poor who make long journeys to the U.S. for illegal border crossings, it's the lower middle classes of middling third world countries, who frequently exploit the very poor on their way (as I wrote about here) and who have plenty of money to pay for human smugglers and cartel "crossing taxes."

Bandits can see what's going on with this human trafficking trade and are taking their opportunities.

Now the Border Patrol has shot one.

Good luck to you, the U.S. citizen, if you shoot an illegal migrant on your border ranch robbing you in this supposedly "non-violent" crime, but the Border Patrol did what the Border Patrol needed to do in Wild West conditions, same as was done in the previous Wild West. Too bad about the Americans who have been told by judges they cannot defend their property from illegal border crossers, some of whom are coming to rob them and virtually all of whom are littering and doing property damage. Some of them are in the San Diego area, and one rancher in Arizona is on trial for murder for shooting an illegal migrant on his own land who was threatening his wife.

Illegal border crossers are apparently the only ones entitled to state protection from bandits and criminals.

What it highlights is illegal border crossing is creating its own universe of special interests and services. The illegal migrant conveyor belt has not only marketed illegal aliens as being in need free food, clothing, housing, transport, and legal assistance, forging a vast NGO empire of special interests with a vested interest in illegal border crossings, it's also sprung up "needs" for new services, such as full security for migrants from bandits in order to make every illegal border crossing a safe illegal border crossing. Guess who pays for that additional institution of new services for migrants?

This far from the only one. Yesterday, CBS8, a local television channel in San Diego, reported that the biggest state university hospital system, U.C. San Diego Health, has encountered so many migrants injured from falls that it's been compelled to set up a new migrant border-wall-fall injury unit, serving some 400 migrants who refused to respect that a wall was there and decided to try their luck climbing over. Some of these falls and injuries are severe, and many of these injured migrants will require a lifetime of care. The Border Patrol should start posting photographs of illegal border-wall jumpers in wheelchairs as a warning to those who plan to jump, but that probably won't happen. The U.S. will just be forced to pay for their lifetime of care.

They could solve this in two minutes by shutting down the border and sending to jail anyone who crosses into the U.S. outside a valid port of entry. Instead, they'd rather extend the empire of services to migrants -- and hand the dirty, dangerous job of hosing out bandits to the Border Patrol. The Border Patrol shouldn't have to be dealing with this kind of threat at all on a regular basis, but a steady stream of illegal border crossings is now demanding it.

Shut it down now.

In one 12-day period this month, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officers apprehended 275 convicted illegal alien sex offenders across the U.S.

From February 5-16, ERO arrested about two dozen illegal alien convicted sex offenders a day during a nationwide sweep, ICE reports. The operation follows a similar effort in January, in which ERO officers apprehended 171 illegal aliens with pending charges or convictions for murder, homicide or assault against children, in addition to sexual offenses.

ERO apprehensions over the two-month period include a range of sexual offenses, such as:

  • A 26-year-old citizen of El Salvador in Houston, Texas, convicted of felony aggravated sexual assault with a firearm.
  • A 44-year-old citizen of Mexico in the Bronx, New York, convicted of felony attempted sexual abuse 1st degree: person incapable of consent/physically helpless.
  • A 71-year-old citizen of Mexico in Pittsburg, California, convicted of felony continuous sexual abuse of a child.
  • A 58-year-old citizen of El Salvador in Gaithersburg, Maryland, convicted of felony sodomy first degree and felony sex abuse first degree.
  • A 25-year-old citizen of Mexico in Denver, Colorado, convicted of felony child prostitution – soliciting.
  • A 34-year-old citizen of Guatemala in Gloucester who was recently convicted locally of indecent assault and battery on a child under the age of 14 – who had been released by the Gloucester District Court, despite ERO Boston having filed an immigration detainer against him.

Unsurprisingly, ERO apprehension counts in the February sweep were high in self-proclaimed illegal immigrant “sanctuary” cities in the border state of California. The San Francisco ERO office reported 41 arrests of illegal alien sex offenders, while the Los Angeles ERO announced 36 apprehensions from the operation.

Not all apprehensions were in southwest border states, however. Many were made in sanctuary cities in other parts of the U.S. For example, Colorado’s ERO made 25 arrests, including 19 in Denver. And, in the far northwest, the Seattle ERO nabbed 12 illegal alien sex offenders during February’s 12-day operation.

Nationally, in fiscal year (FY) 2023, ERO arrested 4,390 illegal aliens with sex and sexual assault charges or convictions – an average of 12 per day.

Break Your Silence: Jim Banks Calls On Joe Biden to Name Laken Riley at SOTU

Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) is calling on President Joe Biden to break his silence on the murder of 22-year-old Laken Riley, allegedly at the hands of an illegal alien released into the United States, during his State of the Union (SOTU) address.

On February 22, Laken Riley went for a morning jog around the University of Georgia (UGA) campus in Athens, Georgia. Riley was a nursing student at nearby Augusta University.

When Riley did not return for hours, her roommate called the police. Her body was ultimately found brutally disfigured near Lake Herrick on UGA’s campus. The following day, 26-year-old illegal alien Jose Antonio Ibarra from Venezuela was arrested and charged with her murder.

Jose Antonio Ibarra (Clarke County Sheriff’s Office)

Ibarra was released into the U.S. interior via Biden’s parole pipeline in September 2022 after crossing the southern border. He was arrested in the sanctuary city of New York City as well as Athens in 2023, before Riley’s murder, but was never turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

In a letter to Biden on Monday, Banks said the president should acknowledge Riley in his SOTU address:

As president, you have the executive authority to reinstate the successful Trump-era immigration policies that you reversed, such as Remain in Mexico, Title 42, and construction of the border wall. These Trump policies were effective and would significantly contribute to securing our borders and protecting the lives of innocent Americans. [Emphasis added]

Your failure to publicly acknowledge this tragedy is unacceptable. You have a great opportunity to respect the wishes of Laken Riley’s mother by breaking your silence and saying her name at the upcoming State of the Union address on Thursday, March 7, 2024. [Emphasis added]

Banks, in a statement, said Riley “was living her dream until it was shattered by Joe Biden’s wide-open border” and called her murder “a totally avoidable tragedy.”

“Biden owes it to her family and the American people to say her name,” Banks said.

Angel Mom Allyson Phillips said her daughter’s murder was a “senseless and avoidable tragedy” and has posted a heart-shaped image of Riley with the words “Laken Riley: Say Her Name.”

While visiting the southern border on Thursday, a reporter asked Biden about Riley’s murder, but he ignored the question:

C-SPAN

“Mr. President, do you bear any responsibility for Laken Riley’s death?” the reporter asked to no response from Biden. In contrast, presumptive Republican presidential nominee former President Donald Trump revealed that he has spoken with Riley’s parents, whom he called “incredible people.”

Joe Biden’s ‘Sanctuary Country’ Orders Cut Loose Illegal Alien Wanted for Rape

Martin County Sheriff's Office
MCSO

President Joe Biden’s so-called “sanctuary country” orders ensured that an illegal alien, wanted for rape in the sanctuary state of Oregon and already ordered deported from the United States, was not immediately taken into Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody.

Juan Jose-Sebastian, a 26-year-old illegal alien from Guatemala, first arrived at the United States-Mexico border in November 2015 as an Unaccompanied Alien Child (UAC) and was subsequently released into the United States interior.

In July 2019, a federal immigration judge ordered Jose-Sebastian deported from the United States, but ICE failed to deport him. At a later date, Jose-Sebastian was charged in Washington County, Oregon, on three counts of rape and sexual assault.

Last month, Jose-Sebastian was arrested in Martin County, Florida, for driving without a license. Initially, ICE officials refused to take custody of Jose-Sebastian because he is not considered a priority for deportation under Biden’s sanctuary country orders.

Likewise, Washington County officials refused to extradite Jose-Sebastian back to Oregon to face the rape charges against him. As a result, Martin County was forced to release Jose-Sebastian from jail.

“I had no more legal authority to hold onto the suspect … when my corrections deputy sent word over that ICE said they don’t have bed space, I was absolutely shocked,” Martin County Sheriff William Snyder told WPBF 25 News.

Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL) and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) quickly intervened in the case, spurring ICE officials to request custody of Jose-Sebastian and claiming they were not aware of the rape charges against him in Washington County.

“How stupid is this? This illegal immigrant was supposed to be deported, but that wasn’t good enough for ICE to hold him, even though ICE was told he had a warrant for sexual assault,” Mast told WPBF 25 News. “The Biden administration continues to prioritize illegals over Americans.”

ICE officials worked with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office to take Jose-Sebastian into custody on March 2. He will remain in federal custody while he awaits deportation.

Former Gov. David Paterson Becomes Latest New York Democrat to Oppose ‘Sanctuary City’ Policy

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - NOVEMBER 20: Former Governor of New York David Paterson on stage duri

Former New York Gov. David Paterson (D) is joining New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) in opposing the “sanctuary city” policy that ensured an illegal alien, now accused of murdering Laken Riley in Georgia, was not turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

Jose Antonio Ibarra, a 26-year-old illegal alien from Venezuela, arrived in New York City after being released into the United States interior from the southern border in September 2022.

In mid-2023, Ibarra was arrested in New York City for acting in a manner to injure a child as well as violating motor vehicle rules. Before ICE agents were even made aware of Ibarra’s arrest, he was released from jail.

Months later, in February 2024, Ibarra allegedly kidnapped and murdered Riley on the University of Georgia campus in Athens.

Adams has since said he wants to modify the sanctuary city policy that ensured New York City officials did not notify ICE agents about Ibarra’s arrest.

Paterson, who served as governor from 2008 through 2010, said he supports Adams’ position in opposing the sanctuary city policy today.

“So earlier this week, Mayor Adams seems to have taken a turn where he is not going to fully embrace the idea of New York being a sanctuary city,” Paterson told local radio:

He feels that if someone is arrested and charged with a felony that we should be able to report it to ICE, and perhaps the person may be deported. [Emphasis added]

Right now, as it stands, the city is not allowed to have that conversation with the federal government … right now we’re in a situation where we have nearly 200,000 migrants. We have migrants living in extremely crowded places and private homes because they were kicked out of the migrant shelters and it’s driving a lot of them into criminality, it’s the only way they survive and some of them are criminals who came here in the first place. His take on the migrant issue is better than anyone else who is talking about it. [Emphasis added]

Adams, this month, reiterated that he wants the sanctuary city policy changed so the New York Police Department (NYPD) can turn criminal illegal aliens over to ICE agents.

“From the days of Mayor Koch and Mayor Bloomberg, there was a clear indicator for those who commit serious crimes in the city, they should be able to be deported after they serve their time and I continue to believe that as a former police officer,” Adams told CNBC.

“After people serve their time, we did our job of making arrests. The prosecutors do their job of prosecuting,” Adams told FOX5. The federal government should do its job of deporting those who are committing violent crimes in the city after they serve their time.”

THE LAWS DO NO APPLY TO THE NEO-FASCIST DEMOCRAT PARTY OF BILLIONAIRES FOR OPEN BORDERS

Colorado Democrats Lay Off Americans and Mull Giving Illegals Government Jobs, Violating Federal Law

Last week, news broke that the city of Denver was preparing to lay off citizens who work for the city due to financial pressures because of Joe Biden’s illegal alien crisis. Now some state Democrats are urging officials to violate federal law and hire illegals for government jobs even as Americans are dismissed.

After the news that Denver was laying off employees went viral, the city bristled at the term “layoffs” and hastily told reporters that it was not actually eliminating people. Instead, some employees were to have their hours reduced to zero, according to KUSA-TV.

“The reduction in hours of operation and programs will affect the number of hours worked by many on-call, some to the point where they may not receive any hours,” Denver Parks and Recreation Director Jolon Clark said in a statement. “The final decisions on hours for any individual position have not been made yet.”

KUSA-TV reported that “everyone from front desk workers to coaches to lifeguards are all considered ‘on-call employees’ that could be impacted by these cuts,” according to Denver Parks and Rec.

Mayor Mike Johnston also noted that final decisions have not been made.

“We have not made any final decisions on cuts other than the ones that we announced already,” Johnston told the media. “All of our departments, all of our agencies, we’re going to have to find a way to prioritize.”

on’s office had more to say on the hiring issue. The spokesperson told the Daily Wire that some officials were considering hiring illegals for city jobs because paying illegals to do city work was “not necessarily” any more costly than paying them through welfare programs. But some officials also felt the plan might violate federal employment laws.

Despite growing concern over handing illegal aliens government jobs even without legal work permits, U.S. Sen. John Hickenlooper (D-CO) urged Centennial State officials to ignore federal law and give illegals government jobs anyway. The senator even blasted the feds for threatening to sue cities for ignoring the law and hiring lllegals.

“I think at a certain point, if the federal government doesn’t act, local communities are going to have to. They’re going to have to figure out some way to say, you can work,” Hickenlooper said according to another KUSA report. “You’re going to have a six-month working permit and if the federal government wants to come down and throw the book at us, we’ll deal with the legal costs. Because people aren’t being left with any other choices.”

Sen. Hickenlooper added that cities are going to end up cutting their budgets and that will likely mean employees will either be laid off or will lose benefits and hours.

“What’s going to happen now is that citizens in metro Denver are going to see their budgets cut. Maybe their rec centers close an hour early. That’s unacceptable,” the senator said. “The federal government cannot expect that this is largely a federal problem, and expect the local communities to bear the full brunt. The federal government has to step up and help. There’s no question.”

Meanwhile, many citizens of the Denver area are struggling financially even as officials continue to provide migrants with free food, free lodging, free education, health care, clothing, and other services.

One resident of Lakewood, a city bordering Denver, told the city council that as government officials spend $480 million a year to house illegals, many local residents are living on fixed incomes and are suffering.

But even Mayor Johnston seemed to fear that handing out work permits might incentivize more illegals to come here. Still, in a January visit with Fox News Channel’s America’s Newsroom, Johnston demurred from commenting on the claim, saying that the topic is “above his pay grade.”

But the fact that he would not unequivocally state that work permits don’t act as a draw to more illegals was telling.
